Will I have a roommate in the housing?

How many other students will be in class with me?

It depends but no more than 4

Am I guaranteed to graduate once I start?

No.  If we see you are a terrible fit and are demonstrating times of untruthfulness or unethical behavior than we will ask you to leave.

Will I be the 100% owner of my area once I graduate?

A.

Yes, unless you are in the financial aide program.

Can I bring my own dog?

A.

You are allowed to bring one dog.  You do not have to bring a dog.

Does my initial Franchise fee include training?

What is expected of me once I become a Dog Wizard?

A.

Be an honest, hard working, and great dog trainer that follows all the rules of The Dog Wizard Code of Conduct.  You will learn about this code of conduct once you get here, but if you are honest and hard working, then it will be very easy to follow the rules.

How will I pick my location?

We can help you with this if you do not have an area in mind. Protected territories will be easily identified by zip codes.

What days and hours are we in class?

A.

Days will vary, but for the most part Monday- Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm. And Saturdays 9:00am – 5:00pm.  Sunday is rest day.

What is a typical day like?

A.

Everyday will be different.  There will be A LOT of hands on training with numerous dogs mixed with classroom time and appointments.  You will be very busy all day long.

What will I learn at the school?

Off Leash Obedience.  Aggression.  Separation Anxiety.  Social Interaction. Retrieve.  Problem Solving.  Scent Work.  Puppy Preschool.  Baby Prep.  Grooming Socialization.  Marketing.  Therapy Dog.

Do I need prior dog training experience to be accepted?

No.

Why might I not be accepted?

A.

Some people are just not a good fit, or a better way to put it is, dogs and entrepreneurship is not your passion.  The best thing to do is find what you are passionate about and seek a career in that field.

If accepted, what do I need to bring?

A.

You will be sent of list of all items you will need if accepted.  But for the most part –yourself and your dog!

How long is the school?

It will start with extensive online training that you can complete at your own pace and once finished successfully  3 week in person training.
